College of Animal Welfare Student Nursing Congress

We’re excited to support and attend the Student Veterinary Nursing Congress on 27 January 2026, a free, one-day virtual event created specifically for student veterinary nurses. The congress offers a comprehensive programme featuring expert-led sessions on key clinical and practical topics — including renal patient care, blood pressure monitoring, low stress handling, recognising pain in cats, and improving welfare for rabbits and guinea pigs. Delegates can also take part in live Q&A sessions, gain practical takeaways to support their training, and access on-demand lecture recordings. 

Open to all students on diploma, degree, or apprenticeship pathways (including those training with other providers), the event provides an invaluable opportunity to build confidence, deepen clinical knowledge, support OSCE preparation, and explore career development. Capacity is limited, so early registration is strongly recommended.
