Supplementation of food with Enterococcus faecium (SF68®) stimulates immune functions in young dogs.
(Benyacoub J et al. 2003)¹Download Study
Dogs fed with E. faecium SF68 4b1705 showed enhanced immune function and a strengthened specific immune function, with a significant increase in CDV virus specific IgG and IgA levels in response to vaccination.
The puppies fed SF68 maintained CDV specific immunoglobins longer than did the control puppies.

Cats supplemented with E. faecium SF68 4b1705 had fewer episodes of diarrhoea than the control group.

A study was carried out to look at the effect of E. faecium SF68 4b1705 on stress diarrhoea in Alaskan sled dogs.
It was seen that dogs supplemented with E. faecium SF68 4b1705 SF68 4b1705 experienced significantly fewer days with severe diarrhoea and improved faster than dogs in the placebo group.
