PRO PLAN Showcases Innovation and Expertise at ECVIM-CA Congress in Lyon

PURINA PRO PLAN proudly participated in the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM) Congress held in Lyon from September 5th to 7th. The congress brought together over 1500 international veterinarians, creating a platform for knowledge exchange and the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

Over the course of three days, attendees had the privilege of hearing from renowned experts in the industry who shared their invaluable insights, offering a wealth of knowledge to the audience. Among the distinguished speakers was Ignacio López, Professor in the Department of Animal Medicine and Surgery at The University of Córdoba, who delivered a captivating presentation on 'The Evaluation of Probiotic Supplementation in Dogs with Chronic Kidney Disease'.

During his presentation, Ignacio López educated the audience on the remarkable benefits of Purina's FortiFlora probiotic supplement. The presentation highlighted the positive impact the supplement can have on dogs with chronic kidney disease (CKD), improving their overall well-being. In addition to the informative sessions, PURINA PRO PLAN also launched its new Gut Game on Pet Gastrointestinal Health, offering visitors an immersive mixed reality experience. This interactive experience allowed attendees to explore the importance of gastrointestinal health in pets and learn about the innovative solutions offered by PURINA PRO PLAN.

In addition to their active participation in the main congress, PURINA PRO PLAN was honored for their collaboration with the European Society of Comparative Gastroenterology (ESCG), the European Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ESVCP), and the Society of Comparative Hepatology (SCH) in organising the feline pre-congress day at the Pre-ECVIM Congress on September 4th. This dedicated day brought together over 150 experts who engaged in lectures, resident case presentations, and roundtable discussions focused on feline health.

Furthermore, PURINA PRO PLAN served as partners of the European Society of Veterinary Nephrology and Urology (ESVNU) ECVIM Renal Masterclass. This exclusive event took place on a boat cruise in Lyon, providing a unique and memorable learning experience for over 80 residents. The Renal Masterclass offered in-depth insights and discussions on renal health, furthering the knowledge and expertise of the participants.
